SIX NATIONS OF THE GRAND –Two men are facing drug trafficking charges after the Six Nations Police Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), launched an investigation into suspected fentanyl being sold in a Hagersville shopping plaza parking lot. The SN DEU said the investigation also included fentanyl being trafficked on Six Nations and the surrounding areas. The investigation was launched after police spotted two men Wednesday, August 31, 2022, sitting in a motor vehicle conducting a drug transaction at a Hagersville shopping plaza parking lot. Police obtained search warrants for the vehicle involved and a Brantford motel room. As a result police seized an estimated $38,000 in fentanyl in addition to methamphetamine, Canadian currency, digital scales, debit list, and cell phones.
