BRANTFORD-With children returning to school next week the Brantford Police Service is launching a Back-to-School Road Safety Blitz, that will be looking for aggressive drivers, persons speeding, and to conduct stop sign enforcement. The BPS said “as kids return to school, we ask everyone to be extra careful on our city streets, as children may not pay attention to the rules of the roads or watch for moving cars. We would like to remind motorists and pedestrians the importance of working together to ensure our roads remain a safe place.” The BPS also said they want to remind drivers of new penalties for Stunt Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
