By Sam Laskaris Writer Six Nations will be one of the locations hosting various Team Ontario tryouts for those looking to participate in the 2023 North American Indigenous Games (NAIG). Tryouts will be held locally on Oct. 29-30 for those who will be seeking spots on the provincial teams in archery, baseball, beach volleyball, box lacrosse, canoeing/kayaking, soccer and softball. About 5,000 athletes from across Canada and the United States, aged 13-19, will participate at the next NAIG, which will be held next July, primarily in Halifax. They will compete in 15 different sports. Besides Six Nations, tryouts for Team Ontario will also be held in the coming months in Thunder Bay, Kapuskasing, London, Sudbury, Sault Ste.
