Martin was one of the speakers at the recent Omushkego Youth Treaty Conference in Timmins. “Everyone has opinions about what the treaty is,” said Martin. “But when we look at what the legal definition of what a treaty is, from an international perspective, it says it’s a legally binding agreement between countries. Countries. So does that mean that we are part of a county?
