Price, a member of Ulkatcho First Nation in British Columbia, is one of the best Indigenous players to make it to the NHL. The 35-year-old goaltender has spent his entire pro career with the Montreal Canadiens’ organization. But because of an ongoing knee issue, Price only suited up for five NHL contests last season. And he started off the 2022-23 campaign on Montreal’s long-term injured reserve list.
