Six Nations Elected Council will be sitting down with its economic arm, the Six Nations Grand River Development Corp (SNGRDC) soon to talk about how SNGRDC can expand its mandate allowing it to look at other business opportunities. And the SNGRDC also wants to talk about how future “surplus profits” will be invested in the community. The SNGRDC currently invest a portion of the dollars it receives on behalf of Six Nations from the community’s own businesses and green energy investments or payments sent to the community allowing companies to use Six Nations lands largely for wind or solar projects.
