By Eathan Braund Local Journalism Initiative Reporter Six Nations Polytechnic’s campus will be become more sustainable after receiving more than $2.8 million from the federal government. The investment, which aims to make SNP more energy efficient and accessible, was announced on May 21 by Minister of Housing, Infrastructure and Communities Sean Fraser and SNP President Rebecca Jamieson. The funding was through the federal Green and Inclusive Community Buildings (GICB) program. “The upgrades to SNP’s Six Nations Campus, made possible by the GICB program, will significantly contribute to campus sustainability while supporting our commitment to providing a welcoming, accessible and healthy learning environment,” said Jamieson. The project will include the replacement of the current geothermal heating system, installation of high-efficiency boilers, and replacement of more than 400 light and electrical fixtures
