Six Nations Paramedic services has tripled the size of their fleet and revield a new and improved base during Six Nations Community Awareness week. Marking not just community awareness week but also Paramedic Services Week, outside the new base were two of the gleaming new ambulances on display. The garage now has the ability to house six ambulances—previously it held two—with expansions to the crew area to accommodate the additional staff to operate these vehicles. Community paramedic supervisor Lacy Easton explained that these increases in vehicles and staff was largely in response to increased delays in offloading patients at the hospital, stalling emergency vehicles and preventing them from responding to further emergencies. “Previously we only would have two trucks on the road 24/7, now we have three trucks on the
