But Six Nations Elected Council (SNEC) is still grappling with issues left over when previous Six Nations Cannabis Commission (SNCC) members stepped down including who is responsible for loss. SNCC members were expected at last week’s political Liaison meeting to discuss seeking an extension to SNEC’s protection from financial loss or criminal responsibility. Councillor Nathan Wright, who chaired the Political Liaison meeting on November 14th, pointed out that there was an agenda item entitled, “Six Nations Cannabis Commission – Indemnity Extension,” but none of the councillors or staff knew anything about the item, a possible motion, or why it was on the agenda. “Do we actually have a motion to consider on this… or?” he
