By Turtle Island News Staff Six Nations Elected councillors have been asked to submit writted reports on any committees, conferences or meetings they attend. The reminder came as Six Nations Elected Council (SNEC) reviewed its Kentyohkwa preliminary governance study project changes hoping to alleviate its growing pains. Jill Hill, SNEC’s political analyst, gave a verbal update on the progress of Kentyohkwa (meaning ‘group’ in Mohawk) at the Political Liaison meeting on November 14. She said some changes were implemented to help council while others are a requirement of the Six Nations Election Code.
