Sarnia council votes to ask Bill Dennis to issue written apology over Indigenous mural remarks

Sarnia council members seated in the council chambers viewed through the open right side of the double door to the chambers with the "Council" sign seen on the closed left door in the foreground.

The apologies are to be made to Indigenous artist Kennady Osborne, Aamjiwnaang Chief Janelle Nahmabin, Kettle and Stony Point Chief Kimberly Bressette, as well as the First Nations in which they serve as a whole. Council wants letters to be available for public consumption, too — and to be delivered over the next 30 days
