Lieut Governor of Ontario visits Six Nations Elected Council for “Meet and Greet”

By Turtle Staff Ontario’s Lieutenant Governor Edith Dumont joined a list of politicians that have made their way to Six Nations or the Six Nations Elected Council (SNEC) has travelled to meet in recent months but this time for a “Meet and Greet’ in a closed session with the current elected council. Lieutenant Governor Edith Dumont dropped by Friday May 24 to meet the current elected council. Turtle Island News has learned no political issues were discussed at the session, like a growing number of meetings Elected Chief Sherri-lyn Hill has had with area mayors, MPs MPPs and others the session was a meeting to introduces themselves. Lieut Gov Dumont is one of a list of Lieutenant Governors that have visited Six Nations and met with SNEC in open sessions. James
