By Turtle Island News staff A young Six Nations girl is showing her talent in the Canadian film industry with rave reviews. Seven-year-old Keris Hope Hill, who lives with her family on Six Nations, made her debut film appearance in the feature length film, Rosie, as the title character. The movie premiered in September at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) to a sold-out audience and will close out Imagine NATIVE on October 23. Hill’s mother Tammy Pointe said her daughter loved the experience and was a natural on set. “She pretty much jumped off the couch and filmed a feature film with zero experience,” she said. “She picked it up really quick.
