By Turtle Island News staff Family members of Six Nations 2018 triple homicide victims aren’t surprised charges were withdrawn from some alleged perpetrators, but they’ve also lost faith in the justice system and in the community. In late November accessory charges were withdrawn against one of the accused in the triple homicide at a trailer on Fourth Line Rd. Vernon Shipman, 37, was set for trial last April but delays in co-accused trials put his behind. The Crown said three charges of accessory to murder after the fact were withdrawn in Superior Court on Nov. 24 due to having no prospect of conviction.
