An article in the May 29th print edition of Turtle Island News, “Petition seeks removal of Mississaugas of Credit First Nation Chief” misidentified “Sault” as a person known to police. The article focused on a petition that outlined concerns about her partner Darrell Clause Jr., who has faced criminal charges in the past. Turtle Island News instituted immediate measures to correct the error and wish to express our apology as well to our readers for the error.
