Prime Minister Mark Carney met with Coastal First Nations leaders on Tuesday in Prince Rupert, B.C., to address ongoing projects and potential partnerships between the government and Indigenous communities. Carney said the meeting also discussed conservation and ‘how we work together to preserve that, to enhance it, while we’re looking for opportunities for development.’
