Former Elected Chief Montour passed peacefully at St Josephs Hospital in Hamilton on Sunday January 8, 2023 at the age of 81,after “a courageous battle,” his family announced Monday. A former Ironworker Elected Chief Montour served 12 years as chief of the Six Nations band council and another two years as a band councillor.
