The Assembly of First Nations and National Congress of American Indians renewed the Declaration of Kinship and Cooperation, first signed in 1999, on Tuesday in Las Vegas. The agreement formalizes the two organizations' collaboration on issues of shared international concern among Indigenous nations on both sides of the Canada-U.S. border.
