T he Assembly of First Nations is bringing in the big guns. In an attempt to heal what is obviously still a wide chasm between the regional chiefs and the National Chief renown former Senator and justice Murray Sinclair is being brought in. The AFN hopes the well respected Indigenous lawyer, Justice, former head of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and finally senator will be able to dig through the layers of mistrust that has kept the national organization from being able to work together to move forward Indigenous issues. National Chief RoseAnne Archibald tried to put a rosey face on the internal turmoil that exploded on the Indigenous political scene five months ago when the country was shocked to learned the National Chief had been suspended after being accused
