Rickford details $25 million fund for Indigenous-owned businesses

Ontario is partnering with the Chiefs of Ontario to provide $25 million to Indigenous-owned business to help them recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. “Indigenous communities welcome this funding to help businesses and organizations,” said Ontario Regional Chief, Glen Hare. “First Nations communities continue to struggle to recover after the COVID-19 pandemic, and this funding will assist with the economic recovery and development for business and entrepreneurs.” Kenora-Rainy River MPP, Minister of Northern Development and Minister of Indigenous Affairs, Greg Rickford announced the $25 million over three years fund last week.
