Destini Cheecham lost her baby in May 2025, her pregnancy in its 39th week, after she went to La Loche Health Centre and Hospital suffering pain and dizziness. However, she says, she felt invisible to the health-care providers there and had to wait seven hours before she was airlifted to Saskatoon.
