COVID-19 hasn’t gone away. Six Nations learned just last week a COVID-19 outbreak has hit the Iroquois Lodge with 23 staff and elders down with the disease that has plagued the world for two years. Across the country First Nation communities are still grappling with the virus and working to keep it from turning into a full-blown outbreak. But no one really knows anymore just how bad it is or how good things are. COVID-19 numbers are no longer readily available as the entire country moves to a COVID-19 free lifestyle. Masks are gone. Even stores no longer have any COVID-19 supplies available for shoppers entering. And people aren’t reporting anymore.
