Bone fragments found at former Brantford golf course are animal remains

BRANTFORD, ONT. The City of Brantford said it has received confirmation bone fragments found at the former Arrowdale Golf Course are animal remains. The city said, both the anthropologist  and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (MCFN) Field Monitor who were on the site today (Friday, September 30, 2022)  issued a confirmation  the bone fragments  found at 282 Stanley St. on September 29, 2022 were in fact animal remains. Brantford Police Services (BPS) has released the site back to the City. Workers attending to the site have asked the City to maintain the coverings on the internal fence at this time to ensure the rest of their work can proceed without disruption or distraction. The city issued its  thanks to the public for their cooperation and understanding.
