Six Nations Cannabis Commission gets new member

By Turtle Island News staff The Six Nations Cannabis Commission has appointed a fourth commissioner, but remains one short of a full complement. Six Nations Elected Council (SNEC) swifty passed a motion to add David Moses as a commissioner at its council meeting January 24 with very little said about Moses, who was not present. Councillor Audrey Powless-Bomberry moved the motion with enthusiastic support. “I think it’s a really good idea, he’ll make a really good commissioner,” she said. David Moses is a member of the Six Nations of Lenape or Delaware First Nation heritage. He is described as a singer, songwriter, broadcaster, performer and entrepreneur on LinkedIn. He has hosted the talk show, Compelling Conversations at CKRZ 100.3FM on Six Nations and also worked at ELMNT FM, CBC, APTN, CKCO
